Hmm...Perhaps if you go to the official site (www.thesims2.ea.com), there'll be a patch?

Yeah, I did do the patches and updates, but it didn't help. I'm pretty sure it's because my video card isn't compatible. About five minutes into playing, I keep getting a blue screen until it permanently freezes into a black screen and I have no choice but to shut off the computer. I have no idea how to fix it, but I figure I'd just wait until Thanksgiving break when I have more time and help.

Don't stress too much about reshooting. My brother attempted to shoot a movie in our garage and it was...hmm. Well, let's say an entire day was spent filming 15 minutes of footage.

Oh, I wouldn't doubt that. It's amazing how long it can take to shoot such a small amount of footage. There's just so many small things you have to tweak (from lighting to camera positions) and it eats up all your time.

Anyways, it took me about an hour to shoot 2 1/2 minutes...and that's in-camera edit. Next weekend I'll probably be spending half the day shooting a 3 minute film since I'll get to do several takes. As for this project, I think it went well. But I won't know for sure until next week when I get my film back.
