new title for Brinny!

On Sunday, Brin passed all four elements of Nosework 1 and earned his title!  The trial was at the Fircrest School in Shoreline, WA where Colton and I ran our very first ever agility trial...um...like 15 years ago and got our first AKC leg.  I was having some very surreal flashbacks to the handler I wasn't then and the contrast made for a very good ( Read more... )

No style points, but they do stop him sliding around on linoleum or hardwood gym floors. You should see the difference in his carriage when he gets into 'four wheel drive'!

It's challenging in that there are no references for me as a beardie trainer. Brinny works very differently to the hunting dogs that the founders/instructors work, and even to the more predominant ausies and border collies. It's a good training challenge!
