Jordan's birthday

Bobby had "borrowed" Warren's car that morning, and he and Jordan had taken it all the way to New Jersey (a couple of hours worth of driving) to a small town called Jackson that was home to a large amusement park. The Ferris wheel can be seen from a mile away, and the park boasts several roller coasters and other thrill rides

"I hope." Jordan takes a deep breath, still a bit nervous about public appearances.

She picked her favorite geek dress, a nice pair of comfortable 'dress boots', and a fanny pack worn on the side.

Very geek, but then again, it is her day. "Let's go."

He likes the dress. He nods, and hops out of the car, running around to open her door for her; she gets the royal treatment, today.

He holds out a hand and waggles his eyebrows.

"Your wish is my command."

Jordan grins, slipping out of the car, poking his ribs and stepping aside to let him close the door. "Silly..."

Why, she is completely oblivious to the looks she might get or not...

They will walk toward the gate, but instead of going to a ticket booth, Bobby veers toward the customer service window.

Bobby nods to the man and simply says, "Worthington."

A moment later, he's signing a sheet of paper and being handed a manila envelope.

He grins at Jordan. "Tell me I'm the most awesome person you know."

Without waiting to hear her say this (since he isn't sure she would, anyway), he opens the envelope and pulls out two plastic encased cards on lanyards that declare them V.I.P. guests with unlimited front-of-the-line privileges and private dining room access.
