I made the Southern California Winter Invitational in the 100 yards butterfly last weekend, swimming a 56.85. That was a good meet for me, lots of good times and lots of laughs. Tomorrow is another dose of pain. Charles's cardio workouts are such a bitch, they give me endless pain throughout the day and I see spots in front of my eyes after them. heh, found out my national rankings in the 200 and 100 flys this year. kinda sad, but oh well

200 fly - 2:27.89, "A" standard = 1906 nationally
100 fly - 1:05.77, "AA" standard = 3052 nationally

Well, considering Southern California has over 100,000 swimmers alone, i guess it aint so bad...

We got a fuckin Trail of Tears in the Palisades. Its called the Temescal Canyon Loop, and when u add running from and back down to the bottom of Temescal to PCH, its called the Mega Loop. It took me an hour and 10 mins, and that was a painful march. kinda like death, but ur back hurts alot more than dying. oh well, it took all the brizzles out ( Read more... )

It came in the mail today, that which has been named Heimdall. The blade is 16' long and 22' altogether. Its hilt consits of a demon head with two dragons for the cross piece. The bottom of the hilt has a snake head sticking its tounge out and down. Towards the bottom it is serrated and it becomes normal at the top. Isn't too sharp....yet.
