Mandatory Vacation
So this week I have completely off because I was about to lose my carry over time from work. So after two weeks of beautiful weather it has been raining for the past three. That aside, I'm having a very enjoyable time away from work. So far I have a had task to do everyday.
Sunday: Spent 4 hours replacing the faucet in the kitchen and de-calcifying the cooper lines that attach to it. Thats right folks now instead of the the tiny trickle of hot water they didn't actually become hot until I was done with the dishes I have burned my hand twice now due to the steamy torrent of water that now erupts from the faucet. At first I tried to just replace the feed lines but I unfortunately I crimped the hot water line for the faucet. After cleaning out the copper feed lines to I'm surprised we had any hot water come out at all.
Monday: Laundry and grocery shopping. Not a lot really happened on Monday that sticks out other then shopping with Cadigan is fun and inconvenient. Since we shopped three stores in order to get the most of all of them when we got to the last stores Chelsea waited in the car as I ran in to get the 3 things need from that place.
Tuesday: Replaced the ceiling fan that as in our bedroom with Chelsea's pretty ceiling fan. It was adventure because it was the only instruction manual we didn't have, so Chelsea and I put it back together based off the picture on the box. We only had to take it apart once because we had a few extra screws that needed to be put back. Turns out the Hampton Bay is a Home Depot brand and they do not have a place for you to get a pdf of the manuals. I discovered this after an hour on the internet and coning up with nothing. So I went to the our local Home Depot and ask them and they said to look on the internet, turns out they thought it should be there a well but it doesn't exist.
Today: So far I have re-hung the ceiling fan from our room in Cadigan's room and Chelsea is off to the dentist while I watch Cadigan. Its fun, however he just brok one of his toys so now all kmakes in a non stop beeping noise and he is rubbing his fce on Mim. I need to go and fix his toy and save Mim.
