I have to say, I´m not familiar with the subject matter, but I really like the effects you use on some of these. :o)

What do you to to get that lighting effect on icon nos 1 and 9?

Thank you! I'll admit that some turned out better than others, but icon-making is so fun!

Oooh...let's see if I can remember... I believe I had a light texture and I dragged it onto the picture I was working on. I moved the position of the light texture so that it was covering up the pic I was using and then I changed the settings to soft light or something like that so that you could see the pic beneath it. Does that make sense? I can probably explain it better...oh, and I could send you the light textures I found if you want to experiment! :o)

Fabulous post again! I didn't realize how many great pictures must have come from that- awards show is it? With the lovely OTP pics of Billie and David. They are so cute together! And that adorkable pic of David is beyond cute! And those are really great smiley animations! :)

Great icons! I'm running off with 31, will credit if I use it...and actually, would you mind if I (try to) make a modified version with a transparent background? I'd still give you full credit for the image.
