Ummm... yeah, I'd mention the numbness to your doctor unless it's listed as a known side effect.

It's called ~Saphris~, isn't that pretty? It's a new med for bipolar. I keep having problems with side effects so I have to switch meds. Seriously, these approved drugs are worse than illegal ones I think :x

Good grief !!. Maybe it will come in tablet or capsule form soon :P. I had to go off my Mirapex (Actually a Parkinson's drug, used for severe restless leg syndrome) because after over a year of using it and it working great, I started to get like.. almost narcolepsy!. I was starting to nod off at my desk at work IN THE MIDDLE OF TYPING A SENTENCE !. A few times I fell asleep and almost fell off my chair. I was terrified I'd get caught and fired, or fall asleep driving !!

Until I got used to the Seroquel, it used to knock me on my ass every night. The next day no amount of coffee would help the fog I was in. I feel your pain. Switching meds. is NO fun =(

Oh man when I first started the Seroquel it was AWFUL. I was zombie-fied but I still felt twitchy somehow. Luckily I passed out as soon as I could find my bed. I'd sleep for 12 hours and wake up tired. I did eventually get used to it and then we even lowered the dose by half because I was getting some nasty side effects, which are the reason I had to switch. Now I have a new drug to get used to >

Girrrllll finding the right combination of meds. is a freaking roller coaster ride, and a royal pain in the hoohaa! All I can say for now is hang in there! Also, if you ever need someone to vent to, especially in this case, feel free to drop a line or two.
