I just got an email that we've been moved from the Hyatt to the Omni.People who have been to Atlanta/DCon before...how far is the Omni REALLY? I mean, the map shows it's not THAT far. And it's on the shuttle loop. But is it a walkable 4 blocks? Hard to tell ( Read more... )

Not super far, but that still sucks. At least you'll probably have better luck with elevators.

I am bringing:
Sherlock, Merry Brandybuck, 11th Doctor from The Lodger episode, and a greek goddess/muse. Spending most of the weekend in Sherlock.

Must see, the Brit track's costuming panel. Mostly Who, but other stuff makes it in as well. A tip: leave early for anything you want to see or do, it's slow moving with the crowds and getting side-tracked by amazing costumes, and things fll up quickly.
