I have heard some speculation that that pilot may have been the original Jack Harkness. The one who's identity our Jack stole. That would be kind of cool. I'd hope they'd make a bigger deal out of it though.

And oh god, fighters in space. My boyfriend spent 20 minutes after the episode going 'BUT, BUT, BUT'. He never watches the show though, so he doesn't know to just go with it. Heh. It's going to be ridiculous no matter, you can't just start picking some things apart, the whole series will unravel.

I AM SO TIRED OF DALEKS
They're great villains and all, but they've been wiped out four times now, by my count (Time War, Bad Wolf, Void, and Handy/Donna) and I'm just.... I'm ready to move on.
My fave moment in the whole ep tho has to be when Amy is all "Let's just ask the pepperpots what they want, shall we!" And Eleven says "Amy. AMELIA!!"

He should call her Amelia in a commanding tone ALL. THE. TIME. So very hot. I don't know why, honestly, but GUUUUH.

Actually, Rose (who lives in the head of someone NOT me) was rather ambivalent. I think since they've shown up several times since she's destroyed them she's already gotten over it. Like, "Daleks. Woo. Whatever."
