So it turned out to be 5 days without power, water, and home cooked meals. It was a good bonding experience with my husband and dog. I have a huge mess to clean when I can get to it and most of my food is inedible. We stayed at Holiday in express which was wonderful. If only our bedrooms were large enough for King size beds

Hey there, I'm sorry it's been so long since i've been around. When I haven't been busy, I've been sick, and/or my internet's been down.
But forget about me, what happened there? Why did you lose power and water?
I'm so sorry, please fill me in when you can.
I am glad to see that something positive came out of this though, for you and your husband. That's wonderful! Certainly, it's been my experience as well, that when electricity and all that entertains us is our of reach for awhile, we do see life in a pure and quiet light that gives way to some very endearing moments in time. It's precious time, I believe. :)
