I liked it. I thought the dialogue for both was spot on. I could hear Ziva and Tony speaking as I read, and that doesn't happen often.

I also thought it fit the prompt well. I'm sorry voters had a problem with it, I know from the spn_las that while a lot of the votes have valid objections to the story, some make no sense at all.

People have seriously been jerks about this?? That sucks. I thought fandom had aged past idiotic pairing wars - there's so much fic out there, who cares if someone is writing something you don't care for? I'm really sorry you had to deal with that.

And I thought this was adorable. I love the way Tony and Ziva are together on the show; it's sweet and warm, just like this. I really enjoyed it -- and I totally felt Ziva's disappointment in that scene in the elevator, when they were talking at cross-purposes, so this fits beautifully into that gap. Thank you! <3

I really liked this. Your characterization of both Tony and Ziva was good. I read types fic and pairings I wouldn't normally because I am occasionally pleasantly surprised by the ideas and stories that others and develop. It's too bad that people people can't look beyond their own interests..they miss a lot of good fic that way.

This is a delightful piece. It was nice to see Ziva's vulnerable side forcing its way through her armor. The heart will not be denied. :)

I don't want to see them hook up on the show, but ONLY because that seems to be the death knell for any TV show I like. Cote and Michael have wonderful on-screen chemistry, and anyone who doesn't see the UST between Tony and Ziva has blinders on. For me, fic is a chance to see them together without risking the ratings. :D
