I've always wondered how Tony actually reacted in the immediate aftermath. When he turned toward Gibbs, I always thought he looked kind of lost and numb, and I've just always wanted to know how they got through those next few minutes together.

I think, even with all his years in law enforcement, Kate was the first partner Tony'd ever actually lost. And for her to die standing right in front of him, and for him to end up covered in her blood, I really think would have been too much for him to handle all at once. And poor Gibbs, I think, would have done anything to keep from losing them both on that rooftop.
Twilight's one of my favorite episodes ever. There's so much emotion and concern infused in it to start with. It was a good springboard.
