The flu sucks.
Fevers suck.
Swollen glands suck.
Missing three days of work due to the above three items when you're already too short on hours to survive sucks.
Cherry schnapps mixed with Diet Mt. Dew does not suck and is in fact very yummy and makes you forget the above four listed items. Or at least... not care about them.
That is all.

Get your doc to prescribe it ASAP if you are still in the first 2 days of symptoms!!!

The upside - within 24 hours I felt human again.
The downside - it makes me fall asleep for no particular reason, and it makes me itch like crazy.

Cherry schnapps mixed with Diet Mt. Dew
Heee, right now I'm drinking Mountain Dew: Code Red - Mountain Dew with a rush of cherry flavour... having Mountain Dew is quite significant for me 'cos as far as I'm aware, there's only one shop in London that sells it and I have to make a special trip if I want to go get some!

I don't like Code Red, which is odd, because I love cherry syrup in regular Dew. And the Schnapps, of course. :)
Then there's all the other flavors, like LiveWire, which was orange... which I also didn't like, despite the fact that Minute Maid Orange Soda mixed with Mt. Dew was a staple of my diet in college. And there was that "BlackOut" or whatever it was called, which was supposed to be grape but was just nasty.

I totally loved Mountain Dew when it was in its abundance all those years ago, no idea why it disappeared over here. *boo*
