I'm pissed about the Casey Anthony verdict. Beyond pissed, if you want to know the truth. So pissed that I can't even bring myself to answer the comments on my last post about her, when I was so certain that she was going to pay for what she did, for fear of going off on a tirade a lot like the one I'm about to go on now

Yeah, if I'd experienced that? I don't think I'd ever let anyone in my family near the water ever again! It made me frightened just reading!

(I once had to rescue my sister when a kid a couple years older than us jumped on top of her--deliberately--and pushed her under water. She wasn't a strong swimmer, and I wasn't either, but I managed to help her to the raft. Then I punched the boy who'd done it and pushed him off the raft. I don't think I went swimming for a couple weeks after that.)
