When I sent off the rough draft to the mods on the deadline, I had just barely crossed the 20,000 mark - I think it was 20,028 or something. Now? Checking it right this second, it's 40,375. I might add or subtract a few words/sentences here and there, just to make it flow a bit better, but other than that... I think I'm sending the final draft out to the betas some time tomorrow for one last go-thru. So, yay me!

Yay! I can't wait to read it!

What are you writing for your DA BB? I didn't even know DA HAD a BB. I bet the stuff fandom comes up with is better than canon. *sigh*

I'm incredibly lucky, in that I'm a stay-at-home mom with kids old enough to be in school all day. So I've got 6 hours to myself every day during the school year. And over the summer, they're old enough to entertain themselves within earshot, so I don't have to fret over them all day long.

And apparently, when I actually do it, I write pretty fast.

Do you ever sleep? Good grief, between work and homework (which I do not understand *weeps*), I'm virtually brain dead five out of seven days and the other two are spent trying to recover. I wanted my summergen to be nice and long and wonderful. It's not gonna be. :(
