Oh, yeah, he knows 'em. No doubt. Knew 'em before he knew a lot of other words, too, I'm sure. With a Marine for a father and Dean for a brother.
I remember, though, thinking it was odd to hear him say "fuck" in Ghostfacers. Dean saying it didn't bother me at all, and it seemed and felt natural. When Sam said it, it just kinda... I don't know... felt awkward, maybe? Like he didn't talk that way very much.
I never did that with Stargate, because we never had any indication that Jack would ever say anything strong than "damn" or "hell." Maybe the occasional "bullshit!"
But we've seen Dean and Sam "live and censored," and they cuss like pissed off, drunken sailors on shore-leave. So I've never had any problem making their usual colorful language a bit more colorful. :)
I just chose not to really count that because documentary footage can be doctored like that for added effect. They likely do swear harder, but it's a turn off in fic for me and I'm such a stickler for keeping with the same tone of the show that's it's a personal no-no with me :)
Hmm, it's always difficult I think to know whether swearing sounds 'right' coming from a character, because we're not hearing it on TV.
Personally I have this image of Sam coming out with a word/phrase that he thinks is such hardcore language and Dean looking at him and going "Dude, nobody says *that* anymore. That's sooo lame"

I think I'd sort of go 'maybe' on the poll.
