The original version of this layout was a total loss, which bothers me, because I thought it was absolutely amazing. But it actually makes sense, when you think about it. It was created for insanejournal, not LJ, and it had the custom comments pages disabled. I spent hours digging through that code trying to fix it, and declared it a lost cause

Personally I think this looks even better. Although the mouse-over trick was nifty. Excellently done. :-)
