My mom had some thing that was about her platelets for years before she died (it was NOT a contributor to her death). They thought she had Leukemia at first too. I can't believe I forgot about that. I'll look up the name of hers tomorrow.
She had to take a pill. That was the only effect it had on her life. I need to remember to mention it to my doctor.
That's wonderful news! Well, not wonderful that you're sporting gigantic bruises, but wonderful that it's not leukemia. Hopefully they'll work out what it is so they can treat it.

I know the mystery isn't solved yet, but at least it wasn't the awful "L" word.
And out of the mouths of babes. I hope you do feel better, and the doctor inflicted cut heals up fast.
