The simple truth is this, while others and I have had great idea collaberations together our styles, the ultimate visions, etc don't mesh, and that is perfectly fine.
My hubby and I come up with ideas for his storytelling games, but he tells them.
My brother and I come up with crazy stuff, but he's very world intense, slow going, etc. I'm not. We're really great at handing off the line to whomever we feel will be the best to present it, and if it doesn't happen, whatever. We have our own projects.
I also know that things I work on become my babies. I am very invested, very Mama Bear. I know enough to not subject people I care about to that madness intimately.
