man i still can't get over how good this week's episode of Game of Thrones was. I think it might be my favorite of the series quite possibly, just because it was fewer, longer segments instead of 5 minutes catching up with the 800 million characters. also no matter what the sigur ros cameo was just golden since i think they are my favorite band

I only knew Sigur Ros were doing a song because you mentioned it and still I wasn't looking for their cameo. During the feast I remember thinking "huh that song the minstrels are playing doesn't sound like anything that would be played in the show's time and place..." and then things got crazy and I lost the thread.

I love earthquakes, I totally miss them. It's the most thrilling surreal rollercoaster ride you can have.

joffrey threw spare change at sigur ros so therefore he totally deserves whatever happened to him ;)

the first couple earthquakes we had, i loved, but the past couple have been pretty strong and instead of that weird rolling feeling it's more like someone has taken you by the shoulders and won't stop shaking you. creeeeepy

I know what you mean on so many levels! The moving, the nostalgia, the health concerns, and the only large difference is you have Ethan in your life still, whereas I'm single and dealing with all these issues on my own.

There was a man I started dating who has started acting and goes down to LA whenever he gets a gig and he would go into why moving back down there was such a bad idea. But I did love the weather and the ocean when we lived in Long Beach. It was difficult without a car, definitely.
