Oh, dear...a dilema!

My LJ account runs out in five days. Usually, this would mean without question renewing it as quickly as physically possibly, because LJ=life. But it hasn't, for several months now. On the other hand, I don't want my LJ to ever, ever, EVER go away. This is home to me. Where my friends and family are. But it could be home as a basic account, ( Read more... )

if you don't use it all that much, then i say let it go to basic for now. if you get back into it and want to pay, your icons will all still be there, just hidden for basic.

that said, come back! ;o)

My maternity clinic and family in SecondLife. Far, far, FAR more time than would be reasonable or mature for me to admit to. ;o)

I have had both a paid and basic account. I am now back to basic. I can still get the daily or occasional LJ fix that I need but spend the money on other things.

What will you lose if you don't renew your paid membership? You certainly won't lose your entries or your friends... Maybe some pics in your scrapbook if you had lots in there, or icons? I don't think there'd be too much problem about going back to basic. Over to you of course though. :)

Go basic, I've only had basic and it's enough to keep us all in touch, which is what really matters.
