That's another admirable thought that I could never quite make work in real life. The problem with my enemies is that I don't like them, and don't want them anywhere near me. I definitely understand the sentiment, and wish I could make it work, but I just can't.
This saying seems different to me in that the idea is to be positive, all the time. You don't have to tell everyone all your secrets, but you can be nice and loving without making them blood brethern. And no matter how much you dislike them, you never do them harm. I think that's the part that resonates with me....the end. Harm no one. No matter whether they're loved, trusted or not. Isn't that a lovely sentiment?
You totally rock, that's exactly where I got it from! :oD
It hit me so close to home, I hit pause, wrote it down, and then rewound and listened to it again and again. I think it's the most brilliant thing ever.
I bet they find some way to do something for Yau, because he was fantastic. I bet there's tons of people on the web talking about him.
I was totally, totally in love with Rupert...I voted for him for people's choice. I'd definitely put Yau-man in the same catagory, only higher up the chain because I have more solid reasons for liking him. I mean sure, it's cool to be a big fierce looking guy with a big heart who wears tie-dye and steals shoes, but Yau has a real maturity and grace about him.
