This is ultimately, I think, what makes depression survivable. Knowing that as long as you are capable of feeling the harrowing lows, someday you will also be able to experience indescribable joys again...probably in the simplest of places.

Exactly....

And no one quite captures this the way the writings of Khalil Gibran do...except perhaps for Rumi.
