Um....oops. I broke it!

So, I went to add my PFB buddy, Erik's blog (The Expatriate Act - funny stuff, read it!) to my friend's list as an RSS Feed because I'm cool and thouroughly modern and I can totally do cool technical stuff like that.

But unlike when I added Mr. Helpful, this feed immediately dumped every entry Erik has done in the past few months to the top of my

If you remove the offending RSS feed it should (I think...) remove all the posts from your friends page and you can reduce your code orange to code green, or at least code yellow :D

Awwwwwwwww, but then I wouldn't have Erik's feed. I want Erik's feed, he's funny! :o) It's cool, tho, if I wait it out his posts will only come as he makes them, and not in one big lump again.

And hey, you can still have your Elvis Impersonator Vegas wedding!! Just do it after 8am or before midnight. ;o)

I would guess the problem stems from the fact that you're the first person who has added Erik's blog in LJ. This will grab all available entries when it's first set up.

Mr.Helpful must have already been set up... once they've been set up for a week or so it'll work fine.

Erik's blog looks funny - I think I'll add it myself! :)

That makes total sense...now that I think of it, when I added Mr. Helpful I did get a dump of entries...it just wasn't as big as this one, because it doesn't pull his whole entries...just little snippets.

I set them both up, and was remarkably nice when I named the RSS feeds, wasn't I??? :op I could have named them "PinkyPants" and "Poophead". What a nice girl I am. ;o)

Erik would be totally up your alley, I'm glad you're adding him. He'll be tickeled!

Thanks for the added exposure, Brightie. Sorry if the RSS overwhelmed your site for a while. I knew I had a habit of coming on too strong. Didn't realize it extended to my web presence as well.

LOL! You were fine, it was just that first dump. And once I started thinking about it, I realized Mr. Helpful's did that to me, too.

So now I expect a daily update, so I can see it flow neatly into my friends list.
