One of the ladies here at work is moving. She is in a temporary place while waiting for the house she bought to be available, so she has very little room. She came around and asked if anyone wanted a fish. I said yes. Yesterday, she brought me a very nice little 1 gallon aquarium with a very sick looking red and blue betta. congrats! I got my sister one of those little aquariums for her birthday... does the filter pour water over the top and trickle into the tank?? They had one set up at the pet store here with a little beta and a stalk of bamboo. It was so relaxing!!

No, but that would be very cool!!!!!!

It has an air filter, and the little stone that the air pushes through sits in a tube in the back and creates bubbles up through the tube and into the water. It's the sound of the air pump, I think, that's so soothing. Well, that and watching Sid's magnificent tail swoosh around as he swims. :o)

My sister had a betta once... They're pretty, huh? That's the only fish we were ever able to keep alive for over a week...
