OMG, this is hilarious! Soulless Sam's inner monologue was perfect.

These vamps must be here because they, like Sam, couldn’t patronize their usual place, which their nestmates were patronizing last night. That meant that this donut shop must indeed be the next best thing to that other one! All this, and a couple of vamps came and practically cut off their own heads with his sword? What a great start to a great day. He loved getting lots done before breakfast.

BWAHHAAAA!

LOLing ... I loved that his big revelation was not about the vamps or their nest, but about how good their presence meant the donuts were ....

Oh, thank you. I'm glad you think the humor hasn't been fully plundered, because I adore soulless Sam, but when I was trying to think of funny situations to put Sam in for this story, I kept having to dismiss them because they'd already been done! (Mostly in "Clap Your Hands....") I'm dying to write another one, though, because this was so fun. There's more funny to be had in pretty much any situation, or at least I hope there is ....

I about died from laughing a few times, but I settled on this line as my favourite: "He really hadn’t expected the same kind of judgment out of drug dealers as he got from cops, and Dean, but you just never knew about people, he guessed."

And the idea that the shop should be open while the cops are investigating just to get more money out of the doughnut loving cops! LOL.

I know! None of my RL friends watch Supernatural, they can't get into it. I always tell them it's hilarious, and they're supremely sceptical.

This made me laugh so hard!! That's so exactly his attitude, like, "Darn, I killed another one! And deprived myself of donuts in the process. Oops; oh, well. Better luck next time ... maybe."
