Eeee, what a great comment!!! (Yes, hallucinating Sam is one of my very favorites, and I LOVE your icon!!) I'm not sure many people enjoy the medical stuff, but I do, and I'm so glad to hear you did, too! Thanks for a great comment.
I'm glad that came across; that's my favorite aspect of outsider POV fic, how what seems perfectly normal to Sam and Dean is HOLY HELL, WHAT HAPPENED TO THESE GUYS?? to everyone else. Glad you enjoyed it!
That was a fun romp through both fandoms, and an interesting take on the end of Season 6. I liked it a lot, especially the way the doctors analyzed what poor Sam was going through. Your House was spot on :)
Ah, thank you very much. House is so much trouble that I wasn't sure how he would be to write and I worked really hard on getting him right, so I'm glad to hear it worked! (He wasn't as hard to write as I'd feared, happily.) I'm glad you enjoyed the fic!
(Who's in your icon? Looks familiar, but I can't place it ...)
Bwaha--there are SOO many animes like that. I really love anime, but there's so much bad out there. But even the bad animes make for good-looking icons!
Whoops! I completely forgot to post my author's notes to this story! I guess I was so anxious about getting the whole thing into one post instead of having to split it into two that I just plumb forgot. And so I don't have to worry about this making the post too long, I'll just post it in a comment. Here you go

I always LOVE the Winchesters from the outside looking in and this was a particularly great perspective because it turned Sam's struggle to the outside and into the medical without diverging from either the real world- nor the supernatural-world-canon. Great stuff!
Ooo, I loved this comment, because it put in words what I was trying to do that I never quite elucidated even to myself. Outsider POV is one of my very favorites, as well. So glad you enjoyed!
I think crossover fic is the most compelling especially with the SPN canon crossed with Outsider-POV, which is why I did it myself as well and enjoy reading those the most. I'm really thrilled that I hit the literal nerve!
