I keep reading about the "friendzone" thing... and all I can think is, "Wait, what's wrong with having friends? Sex and sexuality isn't supposed to be a manipulation. People can be asexual, already committed, gay, exes who are friends, not sexually interested, simply happy with the company. You know, friends

I also crack up whenever someone insists "Straight men and women can never just be friends, without one having subconscious sexual feelings for the other." >.

Sometimes attracted can just be a lovely compliment, with no strings or objectification attached. If your online friends don't know how to pull that off, they're doing it wrong.
