90% non-sequitur, but I can't decide whether I love or hate River Song. And my ambivalence bothers me.

She seems to have that effect on people, actually. I loved her in the library episodes with Ten. But she's become annoying now. I don't like being dragged along like this. I don't believe she's the Doctor's wife, but I don't not believe it either. I just want answers.

I actually liked her a little bit more post-Library, when I realized that she & the Doctor are experiencing the relationship in the opposite chronological order. Which I think is a lovely conceit. And I love that she knows how the Doctor thinks; I just wish ... I don't know. I wish she wasn't quite so untouchable.

There we go, that's a good word - untouchable. The relationship between River and the Doctor is absolutely sweet and wonderful. It's just... I'm tired of waiting.

"Who are you, River Song?" LOL!

It's easier for people if they can put labels on you. That way, they can deal with the labels, instead of the person.

Thanks. :)

I share your frustration at conservatives and liberals demonizing each other. I probably should do a journal entry about that.

That was so awesome! I laughed big time at the "YOU DO NOT REQUIRE TEA" line.
