Adam left for Pennsylvania an hour ago. His coworker, who has a car with four-wheel drive, came and got him, because nobody could get around our neighborhood without four-wheel drive

It must be annoying to have your mailbox so far away!

It really is! I always count the steps to the mailbox itself and back to my door, and it's around 110 steps. It's awful doing that with ice all around!
Hopefully, there are no large envelopes or magazines stuffed in there and it can wait until Monday or maybe Tuesday. It's a very small box. If it's too stuffed, sometimes I have trouble turning my key to open it.

I feel for you. All our snow melted in January, we miss it now.

Sounds like the snow is causing you no end of grief. I know if my ex still lived in Maryland, she would be out there ploughing with her Jeep.
