The start of the holiday weekend

Dinner last night was delicious. Adam made corn on the cob drenched in melted Smart Balance butter, crunchy green squash, and beef ribs. I gave him a black leather wallet to replace his, which was falling apart. We then realized that the traditional gift for the third anniversary was leather. Well... beef is, erm, pre-leather

Still haven't gotten into Torchwood, despite Marsters's presence. Not sure what I'm waiting for.

Still, glad to see y'all had a good anniversary. I find the quieter ones are the more fun -- more reflective and relaxing and less paperwork.

That speech blew me away. I wish I could remember all of it. He really laid into us about getting our priorities straight. I think most of us were just sitting there gaping and thinking, "Dude! James Earl Jones is telling us to shape up and be adults! This is awesome!"
