On reflection, I suppose that the AO3 is the best place for most ordinary feedback -- it informs (attracts?) other readers -- but that discussion/analysis that leads to conversation works better on LJ/DW. (I'd perhaps be reluctant to have conversations on the archive, as they diverge from the story and explore canon, or other stories, or whatever.) Of course anything personal is best in email.
