Until I got older. Especially the day my tiny mouthy child deck a boy for being an ass and telling her she was ugly for wearing "boys" carpenter jeans and a car tshirt.

I'm very lucky I got to raise you four in Alaska. Should we have remained in Canada or even on the east coast, during that time I'm sure I woukd have had many discussions with teachers on my offsprings choice of clothing.

Even now Gillee bean prefers guys jeans to women's and I don't blame her. They just fir her better all around.

I was also grateful my kids weren't fashionistas.
