I'm selling this really crappy old sword on e-bay. It was never pretty, butat this point it's also very rusty and coroded and dull. Dave bought it at a gun show for $25. It has historical significance though, in that it has the Toledo smith's stamp on it marked 1889. It was probably captured in the Spanish-American War. I had a bidder e-mail

That is funny. Also, I love swords and knifes. I bought a carved knife in Tanzania and forgot to put it in my checked-in baggage. I actually walked into the airport with a huge knife sticking out of my handbag. Oops. Security was not impressed.

Hah! Good airport story! I really love swords also, but right now I really need cash more than I need a collection! :-)
