- Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Vinci girls, but our boy has left CNN to stay with Matrix. On the upside, all Matrix episodes are available online. I'm going to miss him speaking in English. Fuck. That does say he's leaving CNN. :(

Any word on who they got to replace Vinci as CNN Bureau Chief? (I'm having crazy ideas that CNN is downsizing and closing the bureau in Rome and will now rely on Vinci on a event-by-event basis. :O Which is not bad. Which sort of reminds me of how we wrote of him in Prequel. But oooomigod. I can't believe this.)

None yet. They can go and not have a bureau chief in Rome and just rely on traveling reporters and the Vatican analyst. OMG, this does kind of mirror what we've written about him. Right up to the daughter. And even the preference for wide mouths. Hahahaha.

I'm upset about his leaving CNN, but thank goodness for the internet.

I want to find an MJ icon. He's all I've been listening to. BTW, thank you so much for taking the time to upload the HIStory album.

Your mom's version of blackout cake is better than the Cheesecake Factory's? I wish there was some way I could try it, so I could judge for myself!

I've always found it curious how he's still been bureau chief while a lot of the newer reporters have gone on to be senior international correspondents. I wasn't going to be too surprised if he were to leave CNN.

Anytime. :) Oddly, if I were to have an MJ icon, I'd like that scene where he's eating popcorn in the "Thriller" vid.

Your milage may vary though. I prefer how my mom's icing is slightly sweeter. I think her cake's also denser, if I remember CF's correctly. I might change my mind if I try CF's again.

Bobby here. Damn! I guess him leaving CNN was inevitable. I found a few references that Juliet Linley is the mystery wide mouth woman. She went to the American University in Rome and in their alumni newsletter it says she is married to our boy. She also writes a blog called "Momma Mia" talking about being a parent. From what I can see, she has not mentioned her husband yet.
With a new family, I am sure he is happy that he won't have to travel like before. I am bummed, but happy for him....I guess...
