So apart from this being just a really good psychological chlostraphobic thriller of a doctor who episode, it has Colin in it. Clearly there should be no excuse for anyone not to have seen it. Little goth boy with awful parents. And the commentary for it? OH THE COMMENTARY WHERE THEY TALK ABOUT COLIN JUST MAKES ME SO HAPPY. David calls him a genius. YES. Pics are self explanatory.

o1. His speech was pretty short and I felt like the introduction was sort of awkward (not John Hurt's but the initial one). Nevertheless so wonderful.
o2. PUDSEY WITH THE WHOLE CAST. How can you not love Children in Need? I feel like this picture just sums up how wonderful the Merlin cast is. They're all so damn squishable (admit it, Uther just needs a hug). And in the special itself, there are so many wonderful things about the special itself. Merlin in the stocks (and getting food thrown at him IN THE THRONE ROOM - or is that the war room?), Gaius immediately finding the page (total joke on how it happens ALL THE TIME IN THE ACTUAL EPISODES).
o3. so damn suave. AND HE DOESN'T HAVE THE MERLIN BOWL CUT (which progressively gets better and then sometimes worse during the first season). Anyways I think this picture is pretty self explanatory for it's wonder and sex appeal.
o4. bonus John Hurt! For anyone that's not aware the Variety Club ShowBiz Awards is for charity.
Colin won Best Newcomer (also James McAvoy won Best Actor and I haven't found his speech anywhere - if you find it there is bonus!Simon Pegg).
