Okay, we finally got to watch Friday's BSG premiere. Here are a bunch of random comments, ( no deep thoughts whatsoever )

I had actually thought Ellen was one for a long time. Only I thought she was going to end up being an older model. Like a prototype of the Sixes.

Huh, yeah, Rogue mentioned something about that...like how Ellen/Six kept morphing into each other in those weird visions of Tigh's.

The dialogue especially, it was so weird and wooden and clunky. Bleah.

Comforting to know I'm not the only one thinking these things. ;-) I hope Mom snaps out of it soon...I need her and Dad to do their kick-butt thing!

btw, regarding the alcohol. One of the first things we saw in BSG 1st season was Chief Tyrol with his hidden still. So, yes, they have stills, they have alcohol and I'm sure in that desperate society, alcohol would make it to the top of the contraband must-have list.

Sure, but weren't they completely out of food and they had to go to that nasty algae planet just to get enough to eat? I mean where are the raw materials coming from? Can you make alcohol out of algae? (I think way too much about this.)

Haha, you know what, I bet the Cylons totes bribed them with alcohol.
