Er, I actually have no idea how old Suki is. Did they ever say? I was guessing 15 or 16. (I'm 26.)

The gaang's Fire Nation outfits are so made of awesome. Has anyone done that as group cosplay, do you know?

She's 15, I believe (and one of the oldest in the show D:!!).

The Fire Nation outfits ARE made of awesome! All of them! I want to make them aaaaaaall~ There certainly have been Fire Nation disguise cosplay groups. I personally know of one, but Avatar cosplay is soooo popular, I'm sure there are many others! Check out takarazuko for some good times~

My friend Sionna (aka hoshikage) is going to be in the SDCC Masquerade too. I don't know if you'll be competing against each other or what, but I want you both to win ^_^ She's under major time crunch so hopefully she'll be able to get the costume done and compete, but it's gorgeous. I'd say what she was going to compete with except that I don't know if I'm allowed since all her costume posts are heavily locked. At any rate, keep an ear perked for her and if you think it's her, say HI for me :)

Oh cool! :D Everyone competes against everyone else in the SDCC format, but there are lots of awards for different aspects, so it's all good. I totes understand about the secrecy thing. How does she know you-- RL, LJ? Would she know who I was talking about if I just said "Hi, you know my friend Beth"?

I know her from college, met her through her boyfriend who was a PhD at cornell. They're now married and I've been friends with both of them since Sophomore year. She would totally know who the hell I was if you said "Are you the Sionna the knows a Beth? with references to Cornell, vetgirlbeth etc. to make sure it's not one of those weird life moments where it's some other Sionna that knows some other Beth...

You and she have similar costuming lives. Work in big groups with set people, compete and masquerade and win alot etc. If you're bored in the green room she'd be a fun person to chat with. I can tell you this. her costume is drop dead gorgeous gown of black an white. how's that? :)

*sobs* I could not find her! I know people who know her, and I asked everyone wearing a black and white dress (and thus made some new friends!) but none of them were her. Sadness!
