A lot of them are details that aren't really relevant, anymore.

I mean, you can't really do much about the hole in the volcano, after all.

I don't think a lot of students would consider asking a graduate, immediately.

I know about all of those things, actually, but it's the point of putting it into words. ... Except for the volcano, of course. I've heard some mixed accounts of that. My sister claimed she saw someone crash through it, but that's pretty ridiculous, isn't it?

My sister was very talkative when she was home. A lot of things seemed to be common knowledge when she was attending, by that point.
