[Clepsidra? What's that?]

Clepsidra...water clock...

[weak cough]

...We used them at home. At night.

((OOC: Tuberculosis kids unite. XD ...I love that I can totally autopilot-delete a comment. I'm clearly getting as tired as Ptolemy is. >.>))

Ah, thanks. I hope your cough is better than mine.

[[OOC : TB seems pretty popular today! And I'm definitely as out of it as Riou now, I was supposed to edit the clepsidra comment after I found out what it was. ~_~]]

Let's hope it pays off for someone. Unfortunately, I don't really have the mind for solving plots and conspiracies myself...

Arpag wasn't mentioned, so maybe it was she who did the eating? She has been the blood collector up to this point. Perhaps Wayangpusa and Adrastus collect something else?

His reply above makes me worry that he might start asking for dues again and not lemon cake this time...

I can't help to think that the animal trinity, or at the least Adrastus may be a force of nature. Where I'm from forces of nature are regarded as extremely high beings. Second only to the Creator God.

Forces of nature tend to not have a true form. They can take on the appearance of anything they want. Often times diving into the subconscious mind of a person.

Adrastus has mentioned a "master" but also previously mentioned being sent by the "guild of painters" so I'm not sure exactly how many there are above him. He also seems to indicate that what we're seeing of him is what we're projecting. (Makes me wonder about the people who projected a squirrel on him...)

If they are indeed forces of nature than the animal collectors might be more neutral and 'fair'(in having no bias) than what the deities seem to be.

The projection might also explain why he appears as a ferocious beast to some, but as a cute adorable puppy to others.

He's appeared in both forms to me. The cute chubby puppy one was rather a surprise. I have to admit that my attitude towards him had started to soften but... what happened to that poor girl...
