Thank you. Kisha also told me after I wrote this that, apparently in the original script, real!Ten was supposed to give reject!Ten a piece of the TARDIS to grow, which just validated by entire theory about this and made me feel special. Because yeah, with a double wanderlust like that, stranding him in one place where all he has is Rose and Torchwood? Not very fair.
