Björn likes soccer (but he calls it fotboll because he's sweeeeedish).

Those who don't necessarily love and follow sports might not be aware that the European Championship games are being played this week.

The other day, I spotted in the list of "five most recent signed up" that a Geena Jacobsson from Veberöd had joined. Then I remembered both of you participated in Mästerskapstipset back in WC2010 as well.

One of the hosts of this competition is former high jumper and Olympic gold medalist Stefan Holm. He got a few minutes of promoting the competition on national radio, and suddenly their server went on its knees from people trying to join in the last minute.

I don't really follow the teams at all, but I do enjoy guessing scores just out of the air. This time I was actually on my way home from a meeting out of town when Björn and I realized that I wouldn't make it home in time to fill out the form myself, so we did it over the phone. Which, as you know, from a train means that we got cut off over and over. But in the end I got my (horrible) guesses logged.

And yes, Stefan Holm, on whom I have a little crush (from his appearances on På spåret).

Of course I am participating. I signed up on May 9th but so far only have a score of 12 pts which puts me on shared 519th place at the time of writing.

I was so rooting for Sweden tonight.. but it seems my favorite teams (our own and the Swedish team) aren't off to a great start this time lol.

It's 7:54 pm in San Antonio and we're watch the Swedes playing against England. Of course, the only way this is possible is on a Spanish cable channel. The game is rebroadcast, but we don't know what the actual result was. It's now half time and I'm typing this with dilated eyes after my eye exam. I can however watch the game and am upset the England has 1 and Sweden has 0. Hoping that will change. So I wrote to say that I'm thinking of you both and wishing you well. BTW- I call it soccer, too!
