Celebrity sightings

Every time I visit Stockholm I see at least one famous person. That's maybe not so unusual in the capitol city of a country as small as Sweden, but it thrills me every time nonetheless.

One time I saw World's Strongest Man Magnus Samuelsson whom I had recently followed on the Swedish version of Dancing with the Stars (and one of the many famous ( Read more... )

I so love Cornelis, he helped me greatly with my Swedish as he is so easy to understand when he sings and as for Cecilia Lind, yes, the best of the best.

Notice how the moon is full in the first verse and new in the last. How time flies when you're having fun :)

I just heard Cecilia Lind. Wow, it's so beautiful. Do I still get credit for pushing you to move to Sweden for love?

What a BEAUTIFUL song!! The words are lovely but just listening to that voice with so much emotion showing through! Just beautiful!

As for the resemblance to Daddy, I really did not see too much there...but sometimes that look in his eyes was startling in its resemblance. (Maybe it was the beard that threw me off. Daddy was always very clean shaven. Even the night Brad was born, me in full labor, had to wait while he shaved before taking me to the hospital.)

Yeah, I really didn't see the resemblance (facially) but you could feel his love of music. The way he played his guitar with the kids and his intense feelings through the song was very much like Daddy.

Love the song, btw!

Ah, Cornelis. Has always been, and forever will be, my musical god!
And when it comes to Sthlm and celebs, I practically lived there for 2½ years and all I saw was Johan Glans. =( In a stable. Who btw is a very shy guy!

Johan Glans is on my list of celebrities-sighted, but it was in the train station in Malmö.

I think I see so many celebs in Stockholm BECAUSE I am a visitor there. Hotels, restaurants, the train station are where I see them and if you live in Stockholm you spend less time in those places.

I wish I had been smarter this trip and booked my room at the Clarion where the Idol gang is staying. I could have been SUCH a goober with my camera!

That is true. And I guess if you live there, perhaps you don't really look up and keep your eyes open in case you spot a celeb..
Next time! They'll be there for a while!
