Happy New Year Bjorn and Geena. May this year surpass last year, if that's possible. Lots of love from S Texas.

HAPPY NEW YEAR you two!! I couldn't tell you about the fireworks here because I was fast asleep when they happened. But I did see the moon in all its glory!

Hope your New Year's meal turns out great. Mine was SUPER!!

I spent the New Year's Eve with my parents. We lazy watched Sound of Music in the afternoon, and thanks to my netbook could log onto IMDb and follow up each actor's career. Only a few of the children seem to have remained in the movie/entertainment business.

The evening was calm, but at 8 AM this morning I woke from a boom and a light effect. Apparently one of the neighbours had found an unused bit of pyrotechnics which they saw fit to fire off in the morning, just next to the balconies and windows. Stupid cows, if you excuse my language. Fortunately nothing happened.
