I'm going to the states in a couple of weeks to visit my family.

One of the things on my happy list is letting Michele decide what my next haircut will be. I'm giving her total free rein over my hair. She's booking an appointment for me with her hair guy.

But...

The TV commercial in which they use the song "Broader than Broadway" made me curious about

I love love love Reggae. Dreads? Hmmm I don't have a problem with dreads except that "real" dreads can't be
untied because they're knots and the only way to start
over is to shave your head like my Joel did. You can always get the little braids like Bo Derek in ten. Those come out easily and leave your hair nice and wavy.

If you go for the dreads...you'll never need to comb your hair...much faster for getting out the door in the morning! At times I consider doing my daughter's hair in dreads..it certainly would ease our morning rush!

Reggae...love it! Makes me WARM...you can almost feel the Caribbean breezes tickling the body! Jammin'!

I like Reggae music. Am now looking for someone that can tell me the name of the chant music that Delta Airlines used in their commercials in 1997. Wonderful "feel good" stuff. (Does anybody know what this is???)

As for the dreads, I'm just kind of glad your visit with Michele is AFTER your visit with me! However, you have the face shape that can wear just about any hair style. I'm sure dreads will work fine for you!
