The Swedes have two separate words for grandmothers, one for a dad's mom (farmor) and one for a mom's mom (mormor). My mormor died while I was in Sweden visiting Björn for the first time so she never got to know how much that trip changed my life. And she never got to know that she and he share a birthday. yeah, he picked his bear-lookalike! and got to comb and blowdry him, ha ha. wouldn't he rather have visited the kjell & company store? :-)

We call Claus Olsson "dagis för gubbar", so when we walked into Triangeln he guessed that I was making a joke about his age by taking him there and letting him pick out whatever he wanted.

I'm pretty sure that he liked building the bear better, but a free trip through Gubbardagis isn't such a bad idea either. I'd like it.
