Maybe I'm a little avant-garde, but I've recognized the dying of privacy for some time. Of course, I grew up in a "public household", so I got the lessons early.

Even so, there are times when I prefer to grant those in my life some anonymity; the death of privacy shouldn't necessarily imply the death of intimacy, the sharing of closely-held experience romantic or otherwise.
