I was asked to help a designer who came in to take measurements of our Reception area for a new carpet. They asked me for ideas of how to make the room more distinct (like having our logo or logo colours flowing through the carpet somehow. It's hard to explain). It's a shame that abstract art has become the genre of choice for businesses, because it isn't SAYING anything and so they can get away with being bland and inoffensive while still appreciating ART!!!

You should help them pick out something else--you've got a good eye!

Thanks! I would love to go art shopping for them. My admin wants an abstract, so I found one. Thing is, it should be bigger. But the colours would really complement the room and our firm colours (dark blue and bungundy) -- they're pretty. Abstract at Night:
