Either way, I only know literature because I've read. That's the first trick about it, or didn't you know? You've got to read, hard as that might be. As for philosophy, I've no interest in it genuinely, but if it helps me punch a few holes in the tiresome people who seem to stalk me online, that would be rather satisfying.
I suppose it's a fair enough trade. It gets you something you need and it might get me something I want. And you'd be beholden to me, which is interesting-- I suppose I agree.

But I've already said it, even though I hate to admit it, that no amount of reading and re-reading has gotten me to understand Shakespeare or Blake or others. It might be because I'm too pragmatic in the matter, though that doesn't make sense since I can wrap my mind around philosophy just fine, so maybe it's just that I'm not that great at literature.
