The week definitely had not gotten off to a good start. A-Squad had returned, stirring up all sorts of inadequacy-related issues. Except as it turned out they weren't the heroes they were supposed to be, and had betrayed SPD in favour of gaining power for themselves

"Is someone else going to pay for that?" Z wanted to know, even as Syd was protesting, "But I look terrible in yellow!"

If Z seemed kind of low-key, it probably had something to do with the fact that, in addition to needing a new wardrobe, she was going to need a new boyfriend. She and Ghost weren't really into trying the long-distance thing.

"There should at least be bonus pay for the whole stopping-an-alien-invasion thing," Bridge said. "I mean, you'd think."
